This tutorial shows you how to create a mobile interface that includes a set of drop-down lists that contain grouped values. This screenshot shows two groups of options, each containing unique values in that group. The first step in establishing this setup is to ensure your Categories are appropriately set up. In this example. we have established our Categories as shown here: Each Category has been assigned a Group Name. To assign a group name, add the desired value to the Group Name field on the Category edit form, as shown here: To add multiple categories to the same group, simply enter the same Category Group value for each Category. Now that our Categories are appropriately configured, we need to ensure our data is categorized according to the groups we have created. This step is covered in other tutorials, such as this video that shows how to use Categories. The next step is to create an Interface. In this example, we've created a new Interface and chose "Mobile Layout". There is only one setting you need to change to enable this functionality as shown below: Set that option to "Yes" and your categories will appear on the Mobile Interface grouped in drop-down lists according to the Category Group Name options defined above.
